The archives are a useful tool for searching for Oldsmobile specific
topics. If its related to Oldsmobiles, its probably been discussed (and
beaten to death :-) on the mailing list in the past. By using a search tool
such as grep, one can quickly and easily find almost any subject in the
archives.
Select an archive, and download it to your PC. Unzip the file to any
empty subdirectory and the zip file will explode out with up to 100
digest files. Use any text editor to read the digests or use a search
tool to scan for specific topics.
The Oldsmobile Mailing List was formed in May of 1995 and has
fostered a community of tight knit Oldsmobile enthusiasts who
have come together to discuss all aspects of Oldsmobiles, past and
present. List maintainer Greg Beaulieu deserves special
recognition for conceiving of the idea and developing the Olds List.
